The Association ASALT together with partners from Turkey, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Poland and Bulgaria announces the completion of the project “#Inclusion”.

This project was funded by funds granted by the European Commission through the “Erasmus Plus” program.

            The group was formed by a number of 28 youth workers, aged over 18 years. The youth workers participated in various non-formal education activities. This non-formal education methods help youth workers to develop their skills and to know how to work with youth with few opportunities.

Mobility duration: 18.01.2020 – 25.01.2020

The location of the youth exchange: Horezu, Valcea.

The main objectives of this exchange of young people were:

1. During the 9 months of the project, the 28 young people developed their knowledge about inclusion, stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination, better understood the problems faced by disadvantaged people and are ready to implement activities that could help young people to feel more included.

2. During the 9 months of the project, the 28 young people learned how to use non-formal education as a tool to include disadvantaged young people and as a way to improve their communication, being able to achieve a min. of 5 methods of non-formal education, to adapt them and to apply them in the local activities, at the end of the project.

3. By participating in the project activities, the 28 young people improved their attitude towards disadvantaged young people, starting from at least 2 local projects (in each partner country), which included over 20 young people with reduced opportunities.

These objectives have been achieved through the following mobility activities:

– What is inclusion?

– Working visit from Constantin Brancoveanu High School

– inclusion activities

– meetings with local authorities and stakeholders in Horezu

– Communication activities and non-formal education methods specific to inclusion

– Debrifings and reflex groups
